Gallia Bees is a small business that specializes in Honey, Beeswax Products, Honey Bees and Queens.

Yes, Gallia Bees offers a variety of beekeeping services, including hive removals, swarms removal,  honey, bees and education. Anyone interested in learning more about our bees are welcome to join us to work bees.  We have extra jackets and gloves, and you can get some great hands-on experience.

All of our bees have come from local, feral bees.  We monitor and track many bee trees and utilize swarm trapping to keep our genetics lines diverse.  Also, all of our honey is from our hives, and we do not filter, heat or do anything to harm the beneficial enzymes and pollen in our honey.  Through melissopalynology(pollen identification in honey), we can tell what our bees were pollenating when they were making the honey you are purchasing.

Our bees are spread out through Gallia County.  We do not want to overpopulate one particular area with our bees. Over population can spread disease and put pressure on local native pollinators.  Most of our hives are off the beaten path for safety.  The place you are most likely to see our bees is at Twisted Vine Family Vineyard.
